The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed)marking is a new UK product marking regulation that will be used in place of the CE mark in the UK market.
On June 20, 2022, the UK government announced the following updated regulations.
Conformity assessment documents for CE marking completed by manufacturers by December 31, 2022 can be used directly as the basis for the UKCA mark without the need for retesting. This provision is valid until the expiration of its CE-RED form of confirmation certificate or until December 31, 2027
It is clear that there is no need to re-test UKCA for existing stock products that have been imported into the UK market
Before December 31, 2025, continue to allow companies to choose to identify the UKCA mark on the product body of the nameplate or product attachment documents. However, from January 1, 2026, only on the product body nameplate marking.
The following general rules apply using UKCA markings:
Documentation that is used in the assessment process will emulate that of the CE mark in the EU market so the documents for CE mark should be sufficient, with appropriate amendment to include the UKCA marking.

The general rules are as follows.
1, UKCA mark can only be affixed to the product as the manufacturer or its authorized representative
2, When affixing the UKCA mark, the manufacturer assumes full responsibility for the product's compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements
3, The manufacturer must only use the UKCA logo to prove that the product complies with the relevant British regulations
4, The manufacturer shall not put any mark on the third party that may not understand the meaning or form of the UKCA mark
5, The manufacturer shall not attach other marks on the product that affect the visibility, legibility or meaning of the UKCA mark
6, UKCA logo can not be placed on the product, unless there is a specific need to make in the legislation
