With the legalization of cannabis cultivation in some areas, more and more growers have begun to join this industry. And here I want to share some experiences.
In the first stage of growth, the illumination time must be at least "18 to 24 hours" per day. The longer the illumination time is, the faster the plants grow. (But your electricity bill will also consume more). If you plan to use LED, MH or HPS, You should place the light source 20 inches or higher above the plant and then lower the light sources by one inch each day until the plant shows a healthy state. If the light sources is too close to the plants, they will turn brown due to the lack of water. And if the light sources is too far away from the plants, they will grow too tall than what we need, because they have to grow hard to reach the light sources.
In the stage of flowering, THC, CBN and CBD which you need are produced. Only female plants produce these substances, and the process is more obvious; their growth process becomes more slow, because the plants need to spend more energy to produce calyx. When the plants are at least 6 inches and have four layers of leaves, you should understand they are ready to bloom. At that time, you should reduce the illumination time to 12hours a day.
